InterMediation Nigeria (IMN), a member of InterMediation UK, is a firm of lawyers incorporated under the Corporate and Allied Matters Act, C20, 2004, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria.
The firm is set up to offer mediation services, legal compliance oversight functions, consultancy services, training and administrative services to individuals, groups, corporate organisations and government institutions in Nigeria and outside. Keeping in view that litigation often stain relationship and harm businesses, the firm focuses on using various ADR mechanism to resolve disputes that affect individuals, corporate bodies and communities. Our team are well trained to international standard and our affiliate firms and companies in other parts of the world, especially in the EU, ensure that disputes that involve international partners are effectively resolved from all fronts.
IMN is also envisioned to develop a pool of professionally-accredited Mediators and other of dispute resolution practitioners to the highest international standards in Nigeria, and with the mission to equip them with skills necessary to defuse conflict in international, cross-border and domestic business, the workplace as well as in family and community settings in a timely and efficient manner.
Due to the increase in disputes in Nigeria and the eventual increase in petitions received by the Nigerian Senate, InterMediation Nigeria was appointed as the consulting firm on Alternative Dispute Resolution to the Senate Committee on Ethics, privileges and Public Petitions, to help resolve the disputes that are sent to the Senate for resolution.
